Ms. Manela graduated from the University of Oregon in 1995 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and a minor in Biology. She graduated from the University of Oregon School of Law in 2002 with a certificate in Estate Planning. While in law school, Ms. Manela interned with the Lane County Domestic Violence Clinic representing individuals who had been victims of abuse. Ms. Manela has also participated in mediation training. Following her admission to the Oregon State Bar in 2002, Ms. Manela has practiced in the Eugene area. Ms. Manela joined the firm as an associate in October 2003. She has served as the co-chair of the New Attorney Committee of the Oregon State Bar Debtor-Creditor Section. She currently serves as the Chair of the Lane County Bar Debtor-Creditor Section and has co-authored materials for the Oregon State Bar Debtor-Creditor Sections seminars and Northwest Bankruptcy Institute.
