Commercial Bankruptcy Lawyers in Eugene, Oregon
During the last five years, the partners of Muhlheim Boyd -- Loren Scott, Keith Boyd and Bo Muhlheim -- have gone through a period of evolving goals and changing geography. Rather than allow those to interfere with our mutual friendship and shared respect, together with the two other attorneys at Muhlheim Boyd, Natalie Scott and Julia Manela, we have decided to close the law firm of Muhlheim Boyd and continue our respective legal practices in three different settings.
For nearly six years, Loren Scott has been a BV-rated attorney and was recently recognized in Super Lawyers as a rising star among business bankruptcy lawyers in Oregon. He has become a frequent source for comment and consultation by other members of the bench and bar regarding business reorganization, particularly individual chapter 11 cases and chapter 12 farmer cases. Natalie Scott, who has been with the firm for nearly five years, and Julia Manela, who has been with the firm over seven years, will continue their practices in the areas of commercial bankruptcy, creditor's rights, commercial law, and appeals. Loren, Natalie, and Julia have formed a new law firm, "The Scott Law Group," which is currently operating at the same physical location and with the same phone number as Muhlheim Boyd. Several years ago, Keith Boyd began cyber commuting to Medford where he had previously practiced for more than a decade. He now calls Medford home, has reestablished many of his former professional contacts and some new support systems that will enable him to continue to deliver the highest quality services. He will continue to have a physical presence in Eugene through space shared with The Scott Law Group. In appropriate cases, they will continue to collaborate. His is joined by his long-time, nationally certified paralegal, Melissa Arnold. His new law firm is "The Law Offices of Keith Y. Boyd". The firm's new website can be found at www.boydlegal.net.
For several years, Wilson "Bo" Muhlheim has been backing away from the rigors of active bankruptcy reorganization practice. He has joined the Luvaas Cobb law firm in Eugene where his expertise in commercial law and financial dispute resolution will compliment their well established business law and litigation practice.
